Well, I'm sure most of us have just started college. I'm a freshmen, and it goes without saying I was totally shocked at the rather large jump I had to make. With change, for me, comes stress. Stress leads to a lack of interest in anything, which meant I didn't feel like doing any roleplaying... anywhere. So don't feel too bad by my inactivity, it's gone on in all the places I was working with.

Truth be told, like I mentioned before, this place needs a co-maintainer. Preferably two, who answer to me on all the important details, while taking care of the minute. For this job, I feel that the most deserving are Sephiroth and Cloud, but it's up to them whether or not they are willing. If you both would like, I'll allow you two to co-moderate since I can't always be around to the extent this place needs me -- It's going to take me some time to deal with the transition to college, and for me that's a lot to handle. Not to mention all the issues involving my family... (The Latin Kings, ugh.)

Just let me know. As far as the roleplay goes, I'll look at all of that tomorrow. I sat through a very long class--almost three hours--which is two hours too much, and I'm feeling very fidgety. -_-;

Current Music: humming "My Eyes Burn" by Matchbook Romance

The girl known as Tifa Lockheart rose from her chair in the cafeteria. Her long, dark brown hair cascaded down her back, and moved everytime she did. Her bright honey-brown eyes scanned the area for a bulletin board, or anything where important stuff was posted. She spotted one, and made her way over. Her black-and-white chucks squeaked a bit with each step she took, the squeaking louder from her right foot. The dogtag necklace she wore almost everyday made little clink! sounds each time they hit one another. Maybe it was just her, but

Wow, I'm loud...

Shaking her head, the brunette finally reached the corkboard announcement-holder. She put her dark red folder bulging with many band-advertising flyers she'd printed last night down on the table closest to her.

She had just finished eating her lunch, so she felt some sort of new energy. And now she was looking at the cafeteria bulletin board for a space to put up one of the posters she'd made advertising her band. Oh, sure, there were plenty of spots to put it up in. But she wanted one that called for attention.

And something caught her interest.

There was a poster advertising another band! One that was to be led by a "Zidane". Tifa raised an eyebrow. No, she wasn't going to spite or feel competitive. Nah. Instead, she thought for a moment. Maybe if both of them got their bands together, they could hold shows. Besides, it was no fun performing by yourself. And multi-band concerts were far more fun than single-band. Tifa knew that from experience.

Looking around, she sat her little pile of posters and started moving what was already on that board around--except for the other band poster. Well, she moved it a little: to the center. And then she put hers up beside it, with a blue pushpin.

All the other papers were arranged around the two band posters.

Perfect! Maybe now everyone's attention will be drawn to these!

Stepping back and putting her hands on her hips, she nodded. With that, she picked up the rest of the posters and made her way to put some more up. Of course, strategically placed where all could see. And maybe beside that other band poster, to gain both of them attention.

Oh! I just realized! ...I never put the kind of music we do... oh well...

OOC: Well, hopefully that was okay. First time doing an RP post and such. I dunno. I'll work on it for my next ones.

Setzer coughed as near- violet eyes scanned the area they'd given him. He'd thought this class sounded so.. Cool!.. But now that he was here, he wasn't so sure about it. He was worried that someone might get hurt, and he was worried about how he'd hold up infront of the students. But that was silly, he could do it, he chided himself silent for his doubts.

He stood waiting out front of the designated area, still a little early, waiting for his students to arrive; scanning over the slip of paper that the woman at the front desk with the very nice blush had given him.

OOC: I'm not actually sure if any of Setzer's students are playing yet, but.. Here it is anyway, lol.

Trying to get acquainted with her surroundings Quistis started a tour around the University. Around lunchtime, wearing black stretchy pants, a white long-sleeved blouse, and white rubber shoes, she headed straight for the cafeteria. "I'm famished. I didn't know the school was this big...", she said to herself. Entering the cafeteria, she sat at one of the tables trying to think of what she wanted to eat at the same time looking at the other students eating at the cafeteria and smiling at them whenever they looked her way. She sat there thinking for a few minutes then came up with a decision... "After eating I think I should go look for a music room... it's been a while since I last played the piano..." she thought to herself looking around once more. "After that, I better return to room in case Garnet is already back."

Wakka smiled as he looked up at the sky, it was a gorgeous day. Petting a Chocobo that he had dubbed "Yugo", he let out a hardy laugh. "It's gonna be one heckuva day, ya?" Yugo squacked as the orange-haired man mounted him, preparing to dash off before Wakka was ready. Mildly taken aback by the jump start, Wakka firmly grasped onto the reins before letting out a rather loud cheer. The two of them happily rode up to the entrance gate, awaiting their students.

Rikku grinned happily as she traveled down the hall from her Weaponry repair class.

"Only thing I had do today. What now?" She sighed and pouted softly to herself as she strides along with hands behind her head en-laced in her braids. She was one to get bored easily. Always looking for adventure. Her adventures with Yunie and Paine always were exciting. She loved the school but compared to those days it was lousy and boring.

"I could always go to Yunie or try to find Paine." She shrugged to herself knowing she was talking to herself. She blinked and giggled softly realizing it. She must be more bored then she thought if shes talking to herself. Stretching softly she sighed and decided to head her dorm.

"I should call and see how vydran (Father) and brother are doing. Hope they haven't killed each other." She shook her head and ran down the hall to her dorm happily though filled with curiosity about her family.

Laying beneath a large oak tree, Aerith's emerald green hues watched the lazy sway of leaves in the breeze. One hand was tucked beneath her head threading slender digits through strands of soft chocolate brown while the other laid flat against her laptop. For the life of her, she couldn't find the concentration necessary to do any sort of work nor even bother writing in her online journal. Something that really she couldn't understand. This entire week had been filled with so much activity she longed to write about but nothing poured from her fingertips and she had given up entirely for the time being to relax.

These were the days where she longed to spend as much time she could enjoying the beauty of the Planet had granted around her. She had hoped (while she had no classes) that she would find a garden center or even a greenhouse within the campus but she had found neither while on her tour earlier. She could only surmise that somehow she missed it.

'I will search later on tomorrow after class,' she thought to herself as a small smile tugged on the corners of her mouth. 'Perhaps I missed it.'

Tearing her gaze away from the sway of leaves, Aerith allowed them to drift across the campus. The last remaining rays of sunlight pouring itself over the looming towers and buildings. For a single moment, she wished she had brought a camera with her. She could send pictures back home for the others to enjoy.

"Mom would be proud," she told herself aloud, pushing herself up to sit. "She always wanted me to get a better education."

Sighing softly, she pushed away all further thoughts from her mind and drew her attention back to her laptop. She should write something in that journal but what? Picking up the laptop, she set it on her lap and lifted it's top. Her fingertips brushed against the keys as begun her entry into her journal.

Once finished, she set the top back down and glanced once more around her aware now that the sun had all but faded from her view. Indeed it was time for her to go and return to her dorm. Holding the laptop like a school book, Aerith rose from the ground, brushing off the dust and grass that clung to her pale pink dress before walking away.

Setzer made his way through the halls, the click of his boots echoing rather loudly in the halls. He walked with authority, and even his footfalls echoed it. I like it. He thought with a slight up turning of the corners of his lips. A guitar case was slung haphazardly over his right shoulder, held rather loosely in place by his fingers curled under the strap near the top of his shoulder. It might have been rather unorthodox, but then again, Setzer wasn't exactly what you'd call normal. He was almost certain most of the students didn't know him anyway; since school had started on Monday, he didn't get to teach his class. It was Friday now, though, and soon he'd finally be able to get to it. It was a good thing, too, Setzer was rather bored.

He was dressed in black from head to toe. A slim black button down shirt, a rarity for him in the black denim jeans, something he only wore casually, which rested over and consequently covered the most of his black boots. He was without the long black overcoat that people seemed to recognize more than they did him. It was hot, and he had planned to be outside for the majority of this venture, and Setzer didn't like to sweat. Even his guitar case was black..

All of this week he'd been playing his guitar. He'd taken it up not so long ago and was already quite good with it, just one of the many things that seemed to be so with him lately. People thought he was gifted, but he was just bored, and boredom does strange things to a man. He had played outside the various university buildings before, and he was poised to do so again, once he got his shopping done.

He stopped outside the main building, pulling out a little white slip of paper where he's scribbled down the various things that he needed to get. It was a wonder he could even read it. At the top of the list was food for Lagomorph, his rabbit like pet, and "stuff" for the guitar. He shoved the paper back in his pocket with a sigh, just what had he meant by stuff anyway? Too bad he couldn't remember.

Quistis was already running down the dim hallway looking for Room 164 carrying with her two large duffel bags full with clothes and a small backpack carrying her own laptop. "Oh my God! I can't believe I am so late! I thought today was Monday, August 23. Why was I so disoriented these past few days? What have I been thinking?", she thought to herself still searching for Room 164. "Wonder if my roommate is already there..." Finally finding Room 164, Quistis inserted her key in the lock and let herself in. Scanning the room, it was small compared to the room she had at her Uncle's house but it was neat and tidy nonetheless. Two clean beds with fluffy pillows, two study tables with reading lamps, two dressers, a bathroom, and windows that overlook the school. It was nice and comfortable. Just add a little feminine touch and it would be all right... hee hee. And then surprise, surprise... A little kitty was sitting on one of the beds licking its paws. "Aww... how cute... so Garnet must be here already..."

Placing her bags down on one of the beds and her laptop on the study table, Quistis started unpacking all her clothes and things placing them neatly in her dresser while thinking about what would happen in her first day of classes. "I hope everything would be fine... considering I was late for a few days... Damn... nothing like this ever happened to me... " After finishing unpacking all her things Quistis sat on her bed wondering where her roommate was until she found a note on her study table. Quistis read the note quickly, placed the note back on her study table and lifted Kokoro in her arms. "So your name is Kokoro right? Nice to meet you. My name is Quistis and I hope you, me, and Garnet could get along nicely." Kokoro purred and licked Quistis' face. "Maybe I'll just tour the campus at some other time.", she said to herself. Still pondering this, she opened her laptop and started writing her first journal entry online...

Stepping into the cafeteria to grab a quick snack, Aerith halted her steps to allow her emerald green hues to sweep across the sea of faces that filed back and forth through the rows of tables. Not a single face seemed familiar to her and she doubted she would find anyone she knew at this time. Classes were not exactly social gatherings and were far more hectic than she clearly expected but she had already grown used to the schedule given to her. Her mornings filled with a variety of colorful characters and her afternoons were quiet fairly her own to tour the vast grounds of the campus. She had not even quite finished her tour either.

'Time enough later,' she thought to herself pushing all further from her mind and joined in the cafeteria crowd.

Each person she passed she offered a warm smile and a soft "hello" before continuing to the lunch line. For her time was a pressing matter. Her lunch period was nearly over but she had opted to seek out the library before she had even a consideration for food. However, the place remained elusive to her search and she had given up completely.

Glancing down at the small watch adorning her wrist, the clock read 10:25 am. She was going to be late if she didn't hurry up and that was something she didn't want to be. It was hard enough trying to place everything within this large campus and she knew it would take her time to do so, but this was not going to do to be late. Excuse or not.

"I'll eat later," she mumbled softly stepping out line and heading off for her optional Friday classes.
